President John A. Darroch presents “Laura’s quarter jar†to Laura Boxer for her relentless pursuit of perfection in helping behind the scenes at Apollo. Laura has been booking our sales agents travel arrangements for over 5 years and has been doing this with the simple notion of “put another quarter in the jar for meâ€. In other words, Laura was working for free and hypothetically stating she would like a quarter. Occasionally Laura made a mistake for which we hypothetically took a quarter out of the jar. This past week while attending the AWFS 2009 fair in Las Vegas, President John A. Darroch and his wife Beth presented Laura with her “quarter jarâ€.
Laura has now been hired as a part-time employee and will now be compensated as other employee’s are.  Thank you Laura for all you do, you are a huge asset to our company and a vital part of making the shows run smoothly.
